Starting this Thursday, the Washington Jewish Music Festival returns with another eclectic lineup. Music from all over the world will be represented at different venues over the course of 10 days. Some of the highlights include the premiere of Christylez Bacon and Seth Kibel’s new hip hop-Klezmer collaboration and Jewish-Brazilian-Jazz project Contra Ponte at Songbyrd on November 8, Andy Statman’s two-set show of Jewish music and bluegrass on November 9 at the AMP, and Simone Baron’s chamber music performance on November 12 at the Edlavitch DCJCC with dancer Mairi Greig.
